New Reception Parents 2020-21

live – love – learn

2 June 2020

Dear Parents/Carers

I really hope this letter finds you well. As you’d expect the current Covid-19 crisis is impacting heavily on the way that we would normally be welcoming you to our school and sharing information with you. We will be structuring transition arrangements to ensure we’re all kept safe, but that you and your children still get the information that you need.

This page will soon include a virtual tour of the Reception Classroom as the children will see it if things return to normal in September.

On June 19th, we will be posting out our Induction Packs to you which will include the following information:

• Details of the Induction Fortnight and ‘Staggered Starts’ for the children – please read this carefully as it may impact on working arrangements for yourselves.
• School Life and School Day explanations
• All About Me Forms
• Uniform Information, including where this can be bought from
• School Milk Forms
• Photo Consent Forms

We’ll also be allocating families 15 minute 1:1 Meet and Greet sessions with Miss Anscombe, where your family can safely visit the school and see the classroom with your child. These will run on Fridays beginning on June 26th. Details of your allocated time will also be within your pack of materials. If there are any further questions, please do contact [email protected] and we will respond as quickly as possible.

I look forward to seeing you during your Meet and Greet sessions later in the term.

Kind regards,

Paul Barber
Headteacher
