There is an 8:40 am check in and we’ll play Socks or No socks. I think the children played this last year with Miss Anscombe.  But just in case, here is how to play:  

Children decide to wear socks or no socks before joining the Zoom call.   

They will need a piece of paper that says ‘Socks’ and a piece of paper that says ‘No socks’.   

We take it in turns to guess if each child is wearing socks or no socks by holding up the signs.  

12:45 pm check in on Zoom to show work from this morning.  

2:45 pm on Zoom for story time and to sing ‘We wish you a Merry Christmas’. Children can show work from this afternoon too.  Feel free to wear Christmas hats!  

If children don’t have any work to show, then of course they are still welcome to join all the Zoom calls.

This link isn’t me teaching – it’s a maths expert introducing a Christmas maths investigation. In the video, he shows you how to explore a system for finding all the orders in which we can get ready in the morning.  Then the children have to find all the different combinations of outfits that the Elves can wear. You have the sheets in your packs.
