Live: At Our Lady of Lourdes we aim to prepare our pupils for a future in an environment in which ever-changing technologies are integral. We want to nurture confident, independent learners who are able to plan, design, create, program and evaluate information through the use of ICT.
Love: Our main priority of computing is to engage children with a variety of technology; we see technology as enriching opportunities. Our pupils will leave Our Lady of Lourdes with a passion for harnessing the benefits of technology in the world around them.
Learn: We want our curriculum to provide context and meaning to projects and activities. Through the promotion of collaborative learning, we help to foster a culture of investigation, questioning and problem solving. As well as the benefits of different technologies, we are also aware of the risks and aim to prepare our children to stay safe online through the use of e-safety awareness sessions and safer internet days.
